Bed & Eggs

Teed Off - As a way to relax amidst moving and renovations, we set up flags around the property, grabbed the irons, and played a couple unofficial rounds of 'golf'.  Then it was back to work!
Fun and Games.

Weather is unpredictable, so if you must stay in, we've provided a variety of puzzle books, a deck of cards, Uno and Yahtzee, and a notepad to keep score hidden away in the chest in the living room.  For sunny days, lawn games are available upon request.

Fit for a Queen - A previous guest, when asked what she found most interesting about her stay, commented on how entertaining a thought it was that the commode is set on a pedestal.
Freshen up.

While visiting, enjoy a relaxing warm shower and soft, fresh towels. You'll find plenty of space to lay out your toiletries from home, and a hairdryer neatly stored in the cabinet.

From the Coop - Our chickens are a little over 1 year old now, and on average lay 7-8 eggs per day.  They are fed egg-layer pellets and fresh clippings from the lawn.  They also love scraps from cut veggies and fruit.
Eat well.

Providing a full kitchen allows you the choice of eating a quick meal, creating a feast, or ordering take-out from a local restaurant.  A complimentary 1/2 dozen eggs straight from the chicken coop will help make your first morning at the farm an easy and enjoyable one.

  • Hair Dryer

  • Iron & Ironing Board

  • Full Kitchen, including full-sized refrigerator, 12-cup coffee pot, toaster, full set of cookware, and dinnerware.

A Little Piece of History - While renovating in the main part of the farmhouse, a door was discovered sealed inside the wall. We wanted to reuse it in the house, but it was too small to fit any of the door frames. The "Door to Narnia" now serves as the headboard.
Rest easy.

A good night's sleep is important, so we made sure to provide a comfortable room for you to rest in at the end of the day. There is a queen bed, 5-drawer dresser, an iron and ironing board, and an additional blanket. A full-sized closet provides room for hanging clothes and storing suitcases.
